This classroom based training course is for those people whose work may cause them to disturb asbestos (non-licensed) on an irregular basis. It's main aim is to show delegates how to avoid exposure to asbestos. It complies with the guidance in ACoP L143.

The new Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 was implemented by the HSE on the 13th of November 2006. These regulations do repeal the current Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002, as well as the Asbestos Licensing Regulations and Asbestos Prohibition Regulations, creating a single set of regulations, (e.g. Specific mandatory training for all trades liable to be exposed to asbestos.)
