Face fit testing is a method for confirming that a secure fitting respirator matches the wearer's facial features, forming a seal preventing the air from entering between the mask and the face.
The requirements for face fit testing are described in the Approved Code of Practise (ACOP) supporting the below detailed regulations.

Paragraph 198 of the ACoP L143 'Work with materials containing asbestos's, states; "It is good practice to have a system in place to ensure repeat fit-testing of RPE is carried out on a regular basis".

We recommend that repeat fit-testing is carried out at least on an annual basis.
